Refund & Return Policy

42Code.NET is committed to providing players with a fair, transparent, and legally compliant refund experience.

However, when transactions are processed through Google Play, Steam, or another authorized app store, payment collection and banking settlements are managed directly by that platform. In those instances, refund requests and fund remittances are handled through the store's payment gateway and governing platform refund rules.

Nothing in this Policy diminishes or waives non-waivable statutory consumer rights guaranteed in your country of residence.

As of the effective date of this Policy, 42play.net does not operate a direct checkout storefront processing payments directly on the website.

Current software purchases are routed through third-party platform stores. If direct web checkout is introduced in the future, detailed direct sales cancellation policies and statutory withdrawal forms will be published prior to rollout.

When an application or in-game item is acquired through Google Play, Steam, or another storefront, invoicing, fraud screening, and financial reversals are executed by the platform operator.

Because 42Code.NET does not hold direct access to your banking methods or credit cards, certain refunds must be initiated directly through the store where the purchase was made.

Transactions for paid apps, in-app items, and subscriptions on Google Play are governed by Google Play's refund policies.

Refund eligibility depends on product type, purchase date, and elapsed time (typically within 48 hours via Google Play automated workflows, or subject to local consumer laws).

Users should first submit their refund request through Google Play purchase history. If Google directs you to the developer or manual developer intervention is required, contact us at support@42code.net.

Where 42Code.NET is technically authorized via Google Play developer management tools to issue refunds directly, requests will be evaluated fairly considering order status, delivery state, purchase history, and stated issue. Automatic approval of all requests without verification is not guaranteed.

Transactions conducted via Steam are governed by Valve's Steam Refund Policy (typically within 14 days of purchase and less than 2 hours of playtime for games).

Players must submit their refund requests directly through the Steam Help portal (help.steampowered.com). 42Code.NET cannot manually reverse funds charged via Steam wallet or external cards on Steam.

If 42Code.NET products are published on additional console or PC storefronts in the future, transactions on those platforms will be governed by their respective store refund guidelines without affecting your statutory legal rights.

If a game or application experiences critical malfunctions, fails to deliver core advertised features, or purchased content cannot be accessed, please contact our support team.

We will first attempt to provide technical troubleshooting, patches, purchase restoration, or missing asset re-delivery. If the flaw cannot be resolved within a reasonable timeframe, you are entitled to statutory remedies, including a full refund.

If a product significantly departs from its official store page description, contact support@42code.net with your order number, platform name, and detailed explanation. Never send passwords or full credit card details.

If an in-app transaction was billed successfully but items or currency failed to appear, try restarting the application or using the “Restore Purchases” button in settings.

If the issue persists, contact support@42code.net. Upon verifying the transaction receipt with the app store, we will manually credit the items or assist with the platform refund process.

Unintended purchases are governed by the respective store refund system. Please submit a refund request through Google Play or Steam as quickly as possible following the error.

If you were mistakenly charged multiple times for a single in-app purchase due to network latency, submit a ticket to support@42code.net with duplicate order numbers for resolution and duplicate charge refunding.

If your payment method was used without your authorization (e.g. by an unsupervised minor or compromised device), promptly alert your bank and report the unauthorized charge to Google Play or Steam.

Subjective dissatisfaction alone may not guarantee a mandatory statutory refund under strict digital content rules. However, platforms like Google Play or Steam offer generous discretionary “no questions asked” refund windows (e.g. Steam's 2-hour playtime policy).

If an application fails to run on hardware that clearly meets or exceeds the stated minimum system specifications, you may request a refund. If your device falls below published minimum requirements, store policies govern eligibility.

Digital software and downloadable content are intangible goods. Once downloaded or consumed, certain voluntary return privileges may be restricted under statutory rules governing digital downloads, provided statutory legal conformity rights remain intact.

Virtual currencies, energy boosters, or loot crates that have already been consumed or exhausted in gameplay cannot technically be returned or refunded once expended.

If an in-game purchase consisting of virtual currency or durable items has not been spent or used, this circumstance is taken into account favorably when evaluating discretionary refund requests.

Where auto-renewing subscriptions are available, they must be managed and canceled directly through your Google Play or platform store subscription settings. Uninstalling the app does not automatically cancel an active store subscription.

Refund eligibility for recurring subscription charges follows the policies of the platform where the subscription was established. Canceling a subscription halts future renewals but does not automatically trigger retroactive refunds for past billing periods, subject to local consumer laws.

If a subscription offers a free trial period, trial duration and conversion terms are presented prior to activation. To avoid charges, you must cancel the trial before the trial expiration window specified by the app store.

Permanent non-consumable purchases (e.g. “Remove Ads” or “Full Game Unlock”) are tied to your platform account and can be restored across devices using the “Restore Purchases” option.

When reinstalling an application or switching to a new device on the same operating system ecosystem, non-consumable purchases can be restored without re-purchasing. Consumable items cannot be restored.

Upon issuance of a refund for a digital game, DLC, or premium feature, access to the refunded content, license, or virtual items will be revoked from your account.

If in-game currency or virtual items are refunded, the corresponding balance will be deducted from your game account. This is a standard reconciliation step, not a punitive sanction.

If virtual currency is refunded after having already been spent, your in-game account balance may reflect a negative value until replenished, preventing fraudulent exploitation of refund systems.

Once a refund is approved by the platform store, funds typically appear in your original payment account within 3 to 10 business days, depending on your bank and payment provider.

Refunds are credited back to the original payment method used during checkout (credit card, PayPal, store credit). If an original method is defunct, store credit is standardly issued by the platform.

For cross-border payments, international exchange rate fluctuations and foreign transaction bank fees may result in minor discrepancies in the local currency amount credited. 42Code.NET has no control over banking conversion fees.

Refund systems may not be exploited to obtain free software, repeatedly purchase and refund items after consumption, or submit fraudulent charge disputes. Abuse may result in account restrictions by platform stores.

If you initiate an unauthorized chargeback with your bank without contacting support or the store, your store account or game access may be temporarily frozen by the platform during the fraud investigation.

When facing a technical problem, engaging in support troubleshooting helps diagnose device-specific issues. However, seeking technical support never restricts or forfeits your statutory consumer refund rights.

Under Turkish Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection and the Regulation on Distance Contracts, statutory statutory consumer rights are fully preserved. Statutory exceptions regarding instant digital execution apply without undermining defective goods remedies.

Under European Consumer Rights Directives, consumers possess legal guarantees for the conformity of digital content. In case of non-conformity, you are entitled to rectification, price reduction, or contract rescission and refund.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for a particular purpose, and as described. Voluntary store refund policies operate in addition to statutory UK rights.

US consumers are protected under applicable state and federal consumer statutes. Store platform refund policies (Google Play / Steam) provide standard operational remedies.

If mandatory consumer protection laws in your home jurisdiction (e.g. Australia, Canada, Brazil, Japan) grant broader refund or warranty rights, those statutory protections apply unconditionally.

When contacting support regarding a purchase, please provide:

• Game or application title;
• Platform storefront (Google Play, Steam);
• Order / Transaction ID (e.g. GPA.xxxx-xxxx-xxxx);
• Date of transaction;
• Description of the technical issue or reason;
• Account email address associated with the purchase.

Never send passwords, CVV security codes, or full credit card numbers.
